Coreskills Occupation List (Draft) Release
Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) has commenced a public consultation on the CORE SKILLS OCCUPATION LIST. The draft list has been developed based on labour market analysis for level 1-3 occupations in ANZSCO 2022. Therefore, this list has been updated with new occupations, and has also used the most up-to-date labour market/employment data.
The CSOL will replace the current Medium-Long-Term Skilled Occupation List (MLSOL) and Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).
The JSA website currently publishes three lists:
Occupations JSA is confident will be on the new Core Skills list: is a list of occupations that JSA is certain to be included in the CSL
Occupations JSA is confident will not be on the Core Skills list: are occupations that JSA is certain to not be included in the CSL
Occupations for further targeted consultation: is a list of occupations that are being considered and considered
JSA notes that this is a draft list and the survey will end on 10/05/2024.
